Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate (Same Rate for Bartending & Serving)

About the Role

At 12th Street Catering, we believe every team member plays a vital role in creating unforgettable guest experiences. Our Bartender/Server position is designed for hospitality professionals who enjoy variety and are excited to contribute wherever they are needed.

This is a dual-role position , meaning team members are expected to work both bartending and serving assignments based on event needs. Some events you may be behind the bar crafting cocktails, while others you may be serving plated dinners, passed hors d'oeuvres, or assisting with overall event execution. The pay rate is the same regardless of which role you are assigned.

We are looking for flexible team players who understand that exceptional events are built through collaboration and a willingness to support one another.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while representing the 12th Street Catering brand.
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly and professionally.
• Set up, stock, and break down bars according to event standards.
• Serve plated meals, buffets, family-style meals, and passed hors d'oeuvres.
• Maintain food safety and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown as directed by management.
• Work collaboratively with Event Managers, Chefs, Bartenders, Servers, and Kitchen staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area throughout the event.
• Follow all company policies, venue regulations, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, restaurant, catering, or bartending experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in both bartending and serving roles.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible event schedules.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Professional appearance and adherence to company uniform standards.
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed.
• RAMP Certification is preferred but not required (training opportunities are available).
