The Dyrt is the largest digital camping platform in the world and is the only camping app with all camping locations in the U.S. Every second, a new user visits The Dyrt to access our community-driven campground information.
If you are a camper who loves the outdoors and want to be part of a fast-growing consumer app, you're in the right place.
The Role:
24 hours/week | Monday–Wednesday
This role spans both of our frontend codebases, with the mobile app as the primary focus. Most of your time will be spent in our React Native codebase, on work ranging from highly interactive tools like our search page and Trip Planner to page performance on our campground listings. You will also regularly pick up work on our Next.js website.
AI-assisted development is a core part of how we work. Our engineering team uses Claude Code heavily for day-to-day development, and we expect you to be comfortable working this way: using agentic coding tools to move faster while applying your own judgment to review, refine, and take full ownership of the code that ships. This role is intentionally structured around a 3-day weekly operating cadence (Mon–Wed).
You'll be working on a team with 3-4 other frontend developers.
